Apply construction adhesive on each baton or firing channel, then position the panels on the wall, leaving a 10mm expansion gap at the top and bottom. Secure the panels to the batons or firing channels with nails or screws, spaced 500mm apart. Use a centre-out pattern for fixing, and avoid forcefully hitting the panels together to join them using the tongue and groove system. Trim the final panel to fit and remove the spaces once all the panels are installed.
Fill in any nail or screw holes with putty and allow it to dry. After sanding and painting the walls, complete the installation by adding skirting boards, cornices, and dado rails as desired. Your brick or block wall is now ready to showcase the modern elegance of Surround by Laminex.
